Storyteller. Speaker. Farmer. Poet.
Grace E. Kelley is a follower of Jesus, a wife, and mother of five, including a set of boy/girl twins. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Creative Writing and a double emphasis in Poetry and Creative Non-Fiction. She writes poetry and stories—both fictional and non-fictional, and occasionally enjoys the opportunity to speak. She is also a farmer, a foodie, an unrepentant mug addict, and a deep believer that incredible beauty can come from the compost heap.
You can find her writing on at her main Substack The House of Rest where she helps readers lean into the ache so that they can better experience the rest of God.
as the Sparrow flies, is her debut collection—a long awaited dream fulfilled, but she’s not finished yet. A writer in all genres, Grace E. Kelley also intends to publish novels, more books of poetry, and maybe someday a memoir about finding the goodness of God in the middle of the compost of life.
